Our Distribution Transformer Management System (“DTMS”) is a next-generation, cost-effective solution engineered to monitor the health, performance, and safety of distribution transformers without requiring significant infrastructure changes. It enables utilities to implement proactive maintenance strategies, improve transformer longevity, and reduce downtime.

Key Capabilities

  • Temperature Monitoring: Detects internal and ambient temperature variations to prevent overheating and transformer failure.
  • Oil Level Monitoring: Ensures cooling efficiency by detecting drops in oil levels that may lead to insulation failure.
  • Switchgear Status Monitoring: Real-time ON/OFF/TRIP status updates of outgoing switchgear (e.g., MCCBs).
  • Moisture Detection: Alerts on excessive moisture in transformer oil to preserve dielectric strength and prevent degradation.
  • Oil Theft Detection: Identifies unauthorized oil withdrawal to ensure operational safety.
  • Plug-and-Play Integration: Easily retrofits with existing smart DT meters and is compatible with most HES and communication systems.
  • Flexible DI Interface: Dual Interface card supports multiple sensor inputs with analog and digital IO ports, customizable for various transformer sizes.
  • Smart Data Handling: Onboard MCU and memory ensure secure, accurate processing and local storage of critical transformer data.
  • Reliable Communication: Real-time data transmission over cellular, wireless, or wired protocols with remote alerts and monitoring.
